Andy Allman Promoted to President, AMS Controls

ST. LOUIS – August 11, 2005 – AMS Controls, a leading provider of state-of-the-art electronic machine controls, announced that Andy Allman, vice-president of engineering, has been promoted to President, AMS Controls.

“Andy has been instrumental in expanding and organizing the company,” said Rick Allman, founder of AMS Controls. “Preparing the company for the future, he’s demonstrated exceptional leadership.”

As Vice-President of Engineering, Mr. Allman guided the technical aspects of AMS Controls, leading recent expansion efforts that have been key to its success while advancing its business strategy. “This is an exciting time at AMS,” says Mr. Allman. “We’re making major investments in development, increasing productivity, strengthening product, and overall stepping up the pace. Mr. Allman has been with AMS Controls since 1994, and has served as Vice-President of Engineering since 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering earned at the University of Missouri -- Columbia. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in international business from St. Louis University.
