AMS Controls Announces Hiring of New Embedded Software Engineer
ST. LOUIS – January 16, 2007 – AMS Controls, a leading provider of state-of-the-art electronic machine controls, announced it has hired Galen Sinkey as an Embedded Software Engineer in its growing engineering group.
Mr. Sinkey brings over 16 years of software development experience with him to AMS Controls. Most recently, he completed a 7-year stint at Boeing , where he worked the F/A-18 jet's Advanced Mission Computer project, developing new fuel and engine control software while serving as technical lead on the software build and delivery team. Prior to Boeing, he held software development positions at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, IA and IDEA Courier in Tempe, AZ.
He will be applying his extensive project management and design architecture experience toward AMS Controls’ new product lines and functional areas as the company’s expansion moves further into the global markets.
