AMS Controls does not guarantee shipments after 3:00 pm Central time. Orders placed after that time might not ship until the next business day.

Fees incurred due to Customs (duties, taxes, import/export fees) will be charged back to the customer in all cases.

UPS®

UPS is the preferred shipping method at AMS Controls.

Implementing the same level of integration with other carriers like FedEx and DHL is cost prohibitive and would be a poor investment due to our very low shipping volumes with non-UPS carriers. Setting up shipments with these other carriers is very time consuming and must be done outside of the system. Therefore, the following policies are now in place:

1. UPS is the preferred package carrier for AMS Controls. All other package carriers will be considered non-preferred.
2. If a customer requests a shipment via a non-preferred carrier, that shipment must be freight collect using the customer’s account.
3. AMS Controls will add a $25 handling charge to any shipment made to a domestic destination using a non-preferred carrier.
4. AMS Controls will add a $50 handling charge to any shipment made to an international destination using a non-preferred carrier.
5. These policies do not apply to LTL shipments.
