The ability to create and save multiple unique sets of parameters in the XL200 controller is now standard. This feature allows machine operators to run different sets of roll tooling such as rafted tooling or cassettes, as well as use different parameters based on different Product Codes.
Operators can now choose which parameters they want to change based on Product Codes or tooling; each parameter can be set and saved as a unique 'configuration' in the controller. Each configuration has a separate copy of the parameters and each controller can save up to 255 different configurations. The operator has the option to manually load configurations or to assign them to one or more Product Codes.
Configurations can be created, deleted, copied, modified and loaded from the controller setup menu. The configuration table, the values of each parameter in each configuration and which parameters are included in which configurations, is fully supported by Eclipse Production Management Software.
